Job Vacancy: Secretary General
/Our current Secretary General is now, after 11 years, moving on to new challenges. We are therefore looking for a new Secretary General who will lead and develop our organization.
We are a relatively young organization that has grown rapidly in recent years, where our volunteer work is a very important part. We now need someone who can lead and develop our organization in a professional manner. The Secretary General reports to the board. At disposal, the Secretary General has a staff of 3 people. A large part of the organization's work is carried out by volunteers.
In addition to sharing the values of Engineers Without Borders, the following qualities are appropriate to possess in the role of Secretary General:
experience of a similar task, especially working in a member-driven non-profit organization
knowledge and experience of international volunteer work
ability to develop an organization
be able to communicate and shoulder the role of being the spokesperson of Engineers Without Borders externally and internally
lead and develop others
a background in any engineering discipline is a plus, but not required
We have assessed that the role of Secretary General is a full-time position. Location is flexible. Salary according to agreement.
